Stable Yard Rooms

In days gone by, The White Swan was a traditional Inn. To the rear of the building was an old stabling barn that housed the horses of the passing travellers.

We have put in lots of hard work to refurbish this old barn to create some beautiful rooms for you to enjoy, as well as a private yoga and combat studio.

We are now able to offer these modern, boutique loft style spaces on a room only basis. They have their own access, so you would never know they were connected to our little pub, but you are only a stone throw away if you want to head in for a meal and a drink or two!

We’re just a stones-throw away from access to the A1, as well as being surrounded by lots of wonderful wedding venues so these rooms could be a great choice whether you’re visiting for business, or your loved ones are celebrating their special day nearby.

All of our rooms are perfect for short business stays, sightseeing or for the outdoor enthusiast and cyclist! We welcome muddy bikes, trainers and boots. Our new bike store is capable of storing bikes securely and is dedicated to only our guests. You will also have the use of bike tools, equipment and a power trainer if you want to warm up before your ride! We've a very good bike wash and drying rack too, if you prefer the mud over the tarmac. In addition, we have a private yoga & combat studio. This little mindfulness room is fully kitted out with functional training equipment and a tranquil vibe. The perfect place to blow off some steam, stretch or relax.
